MAKE A REFERRAL (docx)
DownloadThe Flexzee programme has been designed and developed to be flexible, engaging, and tailored to different learners’ needs.
It offers a mix of fun and interactive activities that support well-being, confidence, and life skills.
Each week introduces a new theme, from building simple routines and managing stress, to practising mindfulness, keeping active, and building friendships. Learners will take part in games, challenges, life skills, creative crafts, movement sessions, and chill-out time, all designed to make learning enjoyable and inspiring.
Alongside these activities, the programme develops valuable life skills such as goal-setting, communication, resilience, and confidence building. The final stage focuses on independence and next steps, helping learners feel ready for school, college, volunteering, work, or simply everyday life.
The programme is all about flexibility and ‘hidden learning’ learners have so much fun they don’t even realise they’re learning, while building connection, community, and a sense of belonging for everyone.
The programme has 18 planned attendance days.
This can be broken down either ;
1 day per week for 18 weeks.
2 days per week for 9 weeks.
3 days per week for 6 weeks
The programme is called the FLEXZEE Programme, designed with flexibility at its core. Sessions, venues, and topics can be adapted to ensure the programme fully meets the individual needs of each learner.

At Everyday Lessons, as part of our Careers and Guidance Promise, we actively support learners in gaining volunteer opportunities and real-world experiences.
Over the summer, young people have taken on leadership roles within our programmes, helping them develop confidence, transferable skills, and valuable experience for their future progression. Supporting with the HAF programmes and working with children and young people.
The girls’ involvement in supporting the empowerment workshops through event planning and idea brainstorming is brilliant because it demonstrates genuine ownership and engagement. By contributing their own ideas and taking an active role, they are not only developing key transferable skills such as teamwork, organisation, and communication but are also building their confidence and recognising that their voices have value.
This hands-on approach allows them to experience empowerment in practice, rather than simply being taught about it, and encourages peer-to-peer support where girls uplift and inspire each other.
Their active participation also increases motivation and investment in the success of the workshops, creating a stronger sense of community and shared purpose.
In addition, our partnership with Padel Parx Wigan has provided young people aged 11–16 with the chance to engage in an outdoor setting, building confidence, staying active, and re-engaging with peers.
It has been inspiring to see them step out of their comfort zones, try something new, and grow both personally and socially.
Seeing us achieve our main goal - Re-engagement.

We recently held our very first Opening Evening to showcase the wide range of opportunities we provide. The event focused on introducing families and young people to the Flexzee Programme, where we discussed the key words and values that underpin this offer – flexibility, engagement, progression, and support.
Visitors were able to explore and take part in some of the fantastic activities linked directly to the programme, including basic first aid, cupcake decorating, and therapeutic art sessions.
Alongside these, we also shared information on the wider opportunities we provide such as work experience placements, GCSE support, further education routes, and vocational pathways.
The evening was a huge success, with students signing up to begin their journey with us and families leaving with a clear sense of the progression routes and tailored support available.
A special thank you goes to Fur Clemt for their invaluable support and for allowing us to use their welcoming space. They were also able to showcase their fantastic offers, including their Kit Programme and a variety of volunteering opportunities, which added even more value to the evening.
We are excited to continue building on this success and to support learners as they take the next step in their education and personal development.
