Everyday lessons was created to improve lives and inspire a brighter future by sharing confidence and skills.
The goal was to offer more than just education. Making a difference by educating on wider topics to help people improve their mental health and search for the positives in even the worst of days. Education, but on a higher level. Everyday Lessons is different to most providers as we focus on a learner centered approach. Looking for the magic within the individual We understand everyone has had a different journey and we want to continue their individual journey one lesson at a time. We show the learners a path but help them understand that it isn't the only path.
We offer vocational courses within the hair and beauty sector, sports and construction.
We offer consultancy to educational establishments and we also offer further training within the education sector. (TAQA, IQA , Teaching qualifications.)
We work across a number of educational environments within FE and alternate settings ages 11-16 and post 16. The main focus is to make a difference where it matters and to ensure we impact everyone we meet in a positive way.
I have been in the industry for over 17 years. In that time I have expanded my knowledge and experience. I am passionate about education and the hair and beauty industry.
I have always wanted to make a difference and it is with Everyday Lessons that I feel I will be able to do so. I think what makes a difference to Everyday lessons is myself, Emma. I am the USP. My passion and love for the industry and my desire to spread happiness and positivity to everyone I meet.
Looking back, making a difference is something that has always been my passion. When it was career advice time at high school , we had to prepare a list of ideas for what we wanted to be when we grew up. I remember writing down all my likes and dislikes to try to decipher what career would suit me. The data showed the career I wanted was a superhero. Although many job roles would be considered ‘superhero’ , it was unlikely I would find that as an actual career path. I decided the place I could make a difference was a classroom. I make resources that I feel will be thought provoking and impactful. I continue to develop my skills and knowledge by completing courses and CPD. I meet with and work with like minded people on positive projects that benefit Everyday Lessons, learners and the partnerships.
I want to use my personal journey through education to inspire. I started with zero clients and soon became so busy I had to turn clients away. I progressed higher in my career, gaining a degree in education and training and began to teach what I love. If you have ever been in one of my lessons you will know that what I teach is more than the vocational qualification. I aim to teach self love in a positive environment that you can grow and develop your skills and knowledge whilst also aiming to improve your overall mental health.
I am all about those positive vibes and reflecting to continually develop. I want to push my learners to be the best version of themselves and aim towards their goals, progressing into further education or a paid role within their chosen industry,
I always aim to have fun and create a happy , smiley, shiny work environment.
Finding the magic within everyone I meet.
I love a coffee and cake and I am always looking to network in any way that may benefit Everyday Lessons and its learners. If you feel we could work together , please do not hesitate to get in touch.

I am working as an enhanced Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP). I assess and treat individuals with common mental health problems with low intensity CBT interventions. I provide supervision to PWPs and work integrately with clients who have co-morbid Long term health conditions. I enjoy other integration work, whereby I reasonably adapt step 2 evidence based approaches with neurodiversie clients, new mums and ethnical diverse communities (particularly the south asian culture). I am bilingual so I provide low intensity CBT in punjabi/urdu/hindi to clients who would require interpreters.
